ABOUT THIS AWARD

The Liebster Award is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers.basically it is an online blogging award designed to help readers around the world discover new blogs of all genres and niches. It’s also a way to recognize bloggers with the most potential to grow and become meaningful online influencers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011.

Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, valued, endearing, and welcome.

12 FACTS ABOUT Girls Corner International:

  1.  She’s a Girls’ Empowerment Association created with a mission to enhance the development of young girls through Empowerment and hands-on activities that contribute to their growth,  society’s growth and the growth of other young girls.
  2. She can reach any limit for Girls, She is girls power.
  3.  She believes that every Girl can effectively reach their potential if they are fellow-up and motivated to do so and this should be the concern of everyone.
  4. She works in synergy with orphan homes to train, motivate and inspire young girls to believe in themselves.
  5. She has been into girls empowerment for close to 2years now
  6. She uses Christlike values to impact the lives of Girls
  7.  She dreams of Operating a girls empowerment center before the end of December 2019 in her community Yaoundé – Cameroon
  8. She base her teachings on Moral education, Sex Education and Reproductive health, empowerment activities for girls, leadership and educational support for girls
  9. She works with Adolescent girls of Ages 10-24years in her community organizing weekly training programs on Saturdays and Sundays to build them.
  10. GCI is founded by 8 young girls between the ages of 24- 30years
  11. She dreams of a world where young girls will have full control over their own lives and live it with standards that heal Humanity instead of destroying them.
  12. Basically she is still working on 0% scale Funds and is very open for Donations and  partnerships.

MY ANSWER TO LASHINI’S QUESTIONS :

  1. Talk about yourself, where you are from and what do you normally blog about.

Girls’ Empowerment Association Based in Yaoundé Capital of Cameroon, created with a mission to enhance the development of young girls through Empowerment and hands-on activities that contribute to their growth,  society’s growth and the growth of other young girls which is what she regularly blogs about.

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging? What made you start a blog and motivates you to write?
Blogging brings GCI closer to the world. GCI started blogging about 1 and a half year ago when she launched her girls empowerment activities in 2017

3. What do you think is your biggest achievement so far in your life?

So far GCI’s biggest achievement has been it’s acknowledgement from different local organizations in writing and financial support like Teach-Connect Community Support organization in Cameroon, Broken tides foundation Cameroon and CIG GAREM HEURISTIC UNIT CAMEROON. She has worked and is still working in collaboration with these organizations to ignite, empower and build adolescent girls.

4. Name one thing that is happening in the world right now that you wish you could change.

Immoral / Immodest  dressing is one of the areas where young girls are getting it all very wrong in the world today and so far GCI has is not just wishing to change it but is already launching dress code campaigns in her community to address this situation. of Girls

5. What would you do if you had one million dollars?

This has been one of the most wanting areas of Girls Corner International(Lack of finance to fully carry out her organizations’ objectives). If she can lay her hands on this money, she’s going to create the Girls empowerment center in the City of Yaoundé first and all the other 10 regions of Cameroon for igniting, empowering and building young girls.

7. What does your perfect day look like?

A Perfect Day to GCI is when a an Empowerment program was successful and attended by all the Girl mentees under the “Girls Corner Empower a Girl save a Generation empowerment Program”.

8. What is your special talent?

Empowering, Educating and building skills and talents in young girls and motivating them to stand out for themselves.
